The company’s fleet will consist of 25 units
Fesco will expand its fleet with three ships by the end of 2022, IAA correspondent PortNews quoting Arkady Korostelyov, chairman of the board of Fesco, told reporters from the Eastern Economic Forum.
“The investment program provides for the purchase of 10 to 15,000 additional TEUs. The same goes for the fleet. It currently has 22 ships and hopefully we will have 25 by the end of the year,” he said, pointing out that the ships will be around 10 years old with a capacity of 1-2,000. TEUs.
According to Arkady Korostelyov, the purchase price has doubled since the beginning of the year.
Fesco’s container fleet totals 110,000 TEUs, he added.
